Why Smilovice project?

We know that children and young people are nowadays facing many negative influences, which prevent them from knowing moral, social and spiritual values.

Christian partnership attached to Slezská církev evangelická augsburského vyznání knows about it. That is why it organizes summer tent camp in Smilovice. The aims are to:

• hand over spiritual values and positive examples to the next generation
• offer a positive orientation in life and approach to other people
• bring up to personal and social responsibility
• offer a possibility of self – realization.

Our visions for the future

Our aims haven´t changed throught the years. We still want to help children and young people to lead valued and responsible lifes.

That is why we want ourselves to develop and concentrate on:

• supporting young people who come from socially weaker families by reducing prices of participation
• giving young people from large families a preferential treatment by reducing prices of participation for siblings
• choosing qualified speakers for lectures and discussions
• ensuring for young people an attractive spending of their free time
• improving technical and social hinterland.

We try to attract as many participants as possible, develop the quality of the programme – everything for the lowest price we can give 1200 Kč / 7 days. We are able to offer such a price only owing to grant programmes of EU, sponsors and voluntary donors.
