History of the camp

Camps for Christian young people tie up on traditional stays of youths in nature where they could studied the Bible.

1969
The very first camp for more participants took place in 1969 in Oldřichovice at foot of Javorový mountain. The participation was enabled after „Pražské jaro“(1968).

1989
This is the year of originating the intention of doing Christian youths´ meeting. It was called „Peace seminar of young people“. After events in November the tent camp started to be held every year in Tošanovice (district Frýdek – Místek).

1990-2000
Because of many people who wanted to take part in the camp, there was bought a big canvas tent, which could conceive 650 people.

2001 - the present
Nowadays, there is a project Dzięgielów – Smilovice and the camp was moved to Smilovice (district Frýdek?Místek).
